Growing in limestone with minimal sandy loam topsoil has allowed the fruit to develop its refined flavours. A warm generous wine with dark coloured Satsuma Plum to Black hues. The bouquet of this wine is overflowing with rich blackcurrant that carries onto the palate to be beautifully balanced with spicy French oak characteristics. The fruit is sourced exclusively from the Salter vineyards and produced under the care of our winemaker Peter Gajewski.
